Idk, Baseball homefield you get both the crowd, but you also have a stadium that in theory is built in a way that works for your team. So big benefit there.

Good afternoon to teams who have less wins than their football team over the last year

 

A blessed morning to all quarterfinalists. May our teams be healthy, and point differntials be mighty.

 

I guess I can't speak for football because I have never been to an NFL playoff game, but as someone who has attended a plethora of Playoff/World Series/NBA Championship games in Cleveland, I can tell you that it is WAY louder inside of an enclosed arena than an outdoor/much more open stadium - despite more people being in the stadium. And with how much faster basketball is being played, the momentum swings seem so much more significant in an NBA game than an MLB game.

For instance, I was at Game 7 of the 2016 World Series when Rajai Davis hit the game-tying run in the 8th inning vs Chapman and the place went absolutely beyond berserk but like...it didn't matter after that. Because the game slowed down, Cubs were able to regain their composure and it was possible to drown out the noise. With basketball being so fast and not really much of a chance to slow down, in that environment, HCA is so much more significant, imo.

 

He's still young, so there's time, but I just really want Mathurin to be better. It just feels like he hit a plateau so quickly.
