  1. Connor Williams and Ben Jones via free agency + this draft....

Just let Sam be bad for another season and draft a QB next year. This scenario better for the long-term.

I love Jurkovec, but he's constantly been hurt and he'll be a 24 year old rookie QB. I was really hoping he'd come out this year.

Yeah, he's got some huge dings. Idk, I don't think it's GOOD but I think it's interesting. Which is why I think this class and the next are both better than 2013.

Probably saw Albright’s tweet and thought he’d stir up some more drama just to lose in the playoffs again cuz he’s still a massive beta

do you not like Bryce Young?

(I’d ask the same for Stroud but I know the answer to that one since he’s a tOSU QB)

I’m not super amped about the 2023 group besides Young right now, but I think the QB group is bound to be better just because this year was a rare one where it seemed like everyone besides Pickett and 1st half Corral hurt their draft stock with their seasons this year (including a bunch at the top who all busted HARD) and it seems unlikely to repeat that next year. A QB class is bound to break out this season like it normally does (right? please?)

I don't like Bryce Young as a top NFL QB prospect.

You've got the transfers like Slovis and Nix. Then there's Spencer Rattler, who also has a shot at some redemption. He has the tools, but he has to mature.

The ACC has some potential: Tyler Van Dyke, Phil Jurkovec, Kedon Slovis and Jeff Sims

Sleeper is Grant Wells if he can win the VT starting job.

I just don't see a star QB like we saw from 2018-2021.

I really want Sam Hartman to take a step forward on decision making/not making stupid passes because he’s so much fun

and I like Will Rogers to go relatively early (QB2?)

but yes, I agree, if you’re not sold on Bryce Young, I don’t see anyone as a top of the class guy here. I’m just hopeful that someone has a 2018 Baker Mayfield or 2021 Zach Wilson/2021 Mac Jones year to immediately propel someone who wasn’t necessarily a preseason favorite into the conversation

Bo Nix has a chance to improve his draft stock in the sense that he will go from never receiving a phone call to maybe day three. He is suk.

    Brennan Armstrong though :eyes:

They never really are which is why I don’t waste my time wondering if teams are going to trade for Rodgers or Russ. Watson is the only one who I think gets traded

Can’t wait for Rodgers’ next update where he says he will make a decision soon and won’t drag this out as he again continues to drag this out as long as possible

Mitch was not an accurate downfield passer so I really don’t think he’d do well in Tampa’s offense. I’m kind of interested to see how he’d do in Pittsburgh because he would be better than what they have and they’ve shown they can get open on easy completion routes. They could use a mobile qb while they build their line and like his best year in Chicago they won’t ask him to do too much.

I think Mitch in Pittsburgh would be pretty similar to Mitch in Chicago

Mitch in Washington or Pittsburgh could be sneaky decent tbh. Put him on a defensive team with a healthy amount of receivers and a great rushing attack.
