I thought Jenkins was doing ok after that initial trade rumor a few weeks back?

 

yeah he was great in the 3rd preseason game but since then he’s said in the media he’s not sure about his future here at all and then Rappaport came out and said they’re still shopping him. He sees himself more as a T still, apparently.

I don’t really get it because Leatherwood was very bad last year, it’s a big gamble to just assume to can transition smoothly as a starting G. Their OL is shaky enough as it is right now. And why give Jenkins first team practice reps for two weeks if they were still planning on trading him.

 

Well if we’re rolling with our current OLine, I’m glad Trubisky is the starter.

That was the year Asante got shafted for DPOY voting. Their division was actually competitive that year (Jets made the playoffs & beat them once) but they drew the NFC North as their cross-conference matchup and the only good team was Rexy's Bears. Which is an easy 17-13 win for Belichick with all points coming off turnovers.
