The offense was largely predictable. The biggest surprise there is UDFA Josh Sills making the team. It’s been said that his guard/tackle versatility likely played a role in him making it, which makes sense given Andre Dillard’s contract is set to expire after this season and Sua Opeta will be a restricted free agent after this year.

Defense was fairly predictable. Defensive tackle, edge rusher, SAM linebacker, and linebacker were all pretty easy predictions. Nice to see Kyron Johnson make it as a developmental rookie. Also nice to see both Josh Jobe and Josiah Scott make it at corner, especially Jobe as a UDFA. Reed Blankenship making the team as a UDFA is a pleasant surprise as well. Only complaint is I wish Andre Chachere made the roster at safety over K’Von Wallace, but I’m guessing Wallace got the nod because he has another year left on his contract while Chachere is set to become a restricted free agent who they may not want to tender.

Overall, I’m really liking the look of this team after the trade for CJ Gardner-Johnson earlier today. I legitimately believe this team will win the division, especially considering the multiple hits the Cowboys’ WR and OL rooms have taken this offseason. I’m still expecting Jalen Reagor to be traded at some point and I’m not ruling out an addition at RB, but I think the Eagles are probably pretty happy with where their roster is at right now.
