We got some decent comedians at my college. The best bands we got were say anything and br*nd n*w. We also got wiz Khalfia and I think lil Wayne once.

 

Were you even a college during the years 2010-2016 if you didn’t book Wiz Khalifa for at least one campus show?

 

My freshman year fall fest was Kanye West so that was cool.

 

What college did you go to?

 

We had a pretty good campus group that brought in a ton of music when I was in college. I remember seeing the TBS/Underoath, MCS, Girl Talk, TREOS, Relient K, etc. Then there was a smaller group of students who booked shows a few blocks off campus, and I was probably at 1-2 shows a week for $10 a pop. It was an incredible time.

 

The reason everyone got Wiz beside him being incredibly hot at the time is the vendors who help organize these events packaged him with all production costs so you saved like 10pm on sound and lights.

 

not that surprising tbh...he doesnt fit the system

 

We had pretty decent shows my college years, usually 2-3 solid ones a year, then senior year the group that managed them blew the entire budget for the year on the Fray (2011 so well past their debut prime) and the rumor was they sold 30 tickets

 

During my run doing it I managed to pull:

we didn't have anyone all that exciting during my time at Nova...Dane Cook is probably the "biggest" act I can remember my freshmen year. I think we had Mae one year too but I couldn't go.

Hoops Mania (Villanova's Midnight madness thing to celebrate the start of the college basketball season) is a different story though lol since my time at Nova (started in 2004), we've gotten:

I probably wouldn't deal him for less than a 3rd since we'd likely get that as a comp pick anyways for letting him walk

I still would be surprised if they dealt him since they aren't exactly stacked at TE behind him
