its kind of crazy how different some of these athletes recover...Edwards tore his ACL in early September last year and won't be ready to start the year.

Chris Godwin tore his ACL in late December and he seems ready to go.

I see they stopped showing us angles that could tell us if it was underthrown

It is curious because they both had other structural damage beyond just the ACL as far as I know

Cool. Had him about the same as Mayfield and Carman last year but maybe he can be good depth

I’m wondering if the Eagles might trade Andre Dillard or some other depth lineman. I’ve seen Dillard’s name specifically mentioned as someone who could be on the move.

They don’t want to play Trevor or Beathard against the Falcons and they wanted to be able to dress 2 QBs. Apparently Beathard isn’t 100% yet. They’ll likely cut Luton again.

Awesome man. He played my college coffee shop in like 2005/2006. The student gov't had wasted all the entertainment budget booking Wayne Brady in the fall, so they got Dad's dog food (local to my college town) to sponsor a 1 year free dog food gift to the band that wrote the best dog themed song. Most of the bands wrote crap, but he wrote this catchy as hell 2 minute song and won

I forget what they spent on Wayne Brady, but its was something comical (like, $50k), when usually we were booking way smaller acts

He’s billing out at over 100k for college performances still. I would honestly be impressed if they got him for 50k in 2006 lol

God, maybe it was $150k then...I just know that instead of getting a Fall concert (like a Jason Mraz level) and our Springfest (which usually had 2 solid acts), and then sometimes a comedian, we got one Wayne Brady

Lol Jason Mraz around that time was at a minimum 100k. I looked at him a few times when I was doing it.

I know they charged for Mraz, like $10 for students and then regular concert price for people in town. The Brady show was free; and did not fill the auditorium

Yeah when we did Wiz, (~80k) we did $5 student tickets, $10 alumni and $20 gen public. It was the first time we charged anything but it was worth it to grow the budget.

  25. bobsheiskawy

is it the same for you? Prestigious

They had Wiz for the fall concert when I was in college (near Pittsburgh, right around when he put out “Black And Yellow”). I have no idea what they paid him, but it was in a fairly small ballroom in the campus center. I think it was free, and tickets went so fast that they probably should’ve had it in a different space/charged for it haha.
