There's a few good Steelers writers, but, all the beat guys for major papers are just complete trash. Kind of amazing really, but I guess its a combo of them being tenured for so long (thus their views being so retrograde) and the team not usually having much drama or intrigue to cover.

I guess it depends what Kyler is asking for. Like if he’s asking to be the highest paid right now it would be tough for the cardinals. But if he’s willing to be around 30 mil/year or something like that in exchange for getting the deal done early then the cardinals should probably just do it.

 

He does. Don’t get me wrong, it’s a really weird statement to release. I think he has better ground to stand on than both Keim and Kliff do. Kliff could certainly be gone before Kyler gets an extension, but teams are allowed to begin talks of extensions with players after their first three years of their rookie deals, I’m pretty sure, so I don’t think it’s wrong of Kyler to initiate those conversations

 

Stingley not working out at the combine is not surprising.

 

Kyler definitely going to look for more than $30m/year

 

Hopefully Corral not being able to throw at the Combine doesn’t hurt him too much

 

QB's throwing sessions at Pro Days matter way more than throwing gauntlet passes at the NFL Combine.

The interviews are probably most important for QBs at the event.
