Wasn't there something to do with if he gets 12 games or more his contract basically rolls over to the next year or something? Which is why he was so desperate to settle before it got that many, due to the salary changes that were made in his contract about him getting a tiny wage this year due to the threat of suspension.

I saw Mitch comment about that clip when it was circulating and I never let myself get too carried away with it because I heard of a practice or two where Jurgens completely bottled up Davis in 1-on-1s, which is why David talked the clip down to the public.

They’re both going to be really good players. Happy to have both. Davis was way more impressive in the preseason game than that clip against Jurgens.
