I’m fine with top 100 as it is. I don’t really need it to seem perfectly accurate, I mostly watch it to hear talented players talk about what makes other players really good. The interviews are far more entertaining than the rankings themselves

 

Standalone rankings are also always boring

Is $75 too much for a verified resale ticket to mewithoutYou’s final show? Standard ticket was $48 after fees

Edit - Nevermind, the resale ticket is about $93 after fees. So fucking annoying

 

for the Pittsburgh show 2 weeks ago, I paid about $100 for two tickets with fees. Honestly, it doesn’t seem too bad…

 

Yeah but was that $100 total for the two tickets because this is nearly $100 for just one. Like, I can’t get behind that after I dropped over $100 for a 1975 ticket last week

 

yeah. But it is their FINAL show, so I’d expect the price to be higher for the experience factor. Plus some additional for being after market. Between those two things I don’t think it’s too bad.

 

Weird how the final show sold out very early, yet there are still tickets left to the night before. I have a tough time thinking the final show is more expensive yet sold out really early on while the night before still has tickets available

 

From an outside perspective that cost is wild IMO and I spend too much money way too often

 

I know, that’s what I’m saying. I’m expected pay almost as much money to see mewithoutYou as I did The 1975? I get that it’s “the final show,” but c’mon. My ticket for the night before was just $32.50 before fees and $48 after them. I’d be paying almost double that for the second night.

I just can’t get behind it. Hoping it gets cheaper soon

i always thought one of the best draws about being in this world of music you usually pay only 20 or 30 to see bands. for getting close to a hundred and beyond i better be getting an all day festival or some huge act playing an almost 2 hour set and even then thats a big decision. that kind of money for a club gig is just robbery no matter how much i like the band honestly

 

I see FAR fewer bands live than I used to. I have less time, but ultimately it’s because of the price. Especially processing and fees. It almost doubled the price a lot of times.
