Maybe ATL? They can’t expect patterson to duplicate last season and they don’t have any other depth right?

If Hunt goes to Philly I have one less reason to watch the nfl this year

Counterpoint, Hunt to Philly makes zero sense when Philly has run an RBBC across three different coaching staffs since 2015. Also, if they would be willing to give Hunt an extension in his late 20s, then they might as well just give Sanders an extension, but they’re probably not going to give Sanders so it seems odd that they’d be interested in trading for Hunt.

Buffalo makes sense for Hunt, but I’m expecting Hunt to be traded once a notable player suffers an injury in training camp, the preseason, or early in the regular season

I think Chubb’s value would obviously go up, but I don’t think it drastically changes his fantasy ADP from the end of first/early 2nd range.

I think he would still be in the tier 2 of RB’s but might move to the top of that tier and could flirt with tier 1. I guess if it looked something like this:

    Tier 1
    - Taylor, CMC, Ekeler, Cook, Henry

    Tier 2
    - Chubb, Mixon, Najee, Swift

What platform currently has Chubb as a late first/early second round pick?

Also, I firmly believe a Hunt trade will positively affect Johnson decidedly more than it will Chubb

I like Johnson but he's not as good as Hunt.

Here are Chubb’s per game snap counts. After week six, Hunt only played in weeks 12 and 14.

    W1 - 53% (L 29-33)
    W2 - 57% (W 31-21)
    W3 - 49% (W 26-6)
    W4 - 47% (W 14-7)
    W5 - 56% (L 42-47)
    W6 - Inactive
    W7 - Inactive
    W8 - 56% (L 10-15)
    W9 - 56% (W 41-16)
    W10 - Did Not Play
    W11 - 57% (W 13-10)
    W12 - 50% (L 10-16)
    W14 - 66% (W 24-22)
    W15 - 66% (L 14-16)
    W16 - 60% (L 22-24)
    W17 - 42% (L 14-26)
    W18 - 24% (W 21-16)

There’s more context to dig into, for sure, but I just wanted to share initial findings of Chubb’s playing time. I do think he’d see an increase in snaps without Hunt, of course, but I would expect him to hover around 55-65% still. Hardly any coaches in the NFL utilize their RB1 70% or more. Hunt may be better than Johnson, but I wouldn’t expect a big jump in Chubb’s usage. I think his floor will rise thought because I expect less games of sub-50% snaps.

I’d like to correct myself because in my mock drafts I already put my league’s keepers in so Chase, Kupp, and Swift are not on the board which will skew Chubb up a few picks in mine.

So he is probably more early/mid 2nd right now. If you’re in a high $$$ league where Chubb is gonna be there in the 3rd get me in there haha

    The rivalry is back on

Chubb is like the anti-Austin Ekeler (last year valuation, this year the guy with that inverse swing is probably D’Andre Swift) as far as high end fantasy RBs go. In PPR leagues, he is almost certainly going to go higher than his production warrants and I wouldn’t touch him until maybe the 2/3 turn. In standard/non-PPR leagues, I’d take him with pick 6 and not look back.

yeah, I like Swift. I think I’d rank him 8 in PPR leagues and wouldn’t want him until the mid-to-end of round 2 in a standard league

I think Swift is a bit overvalued in half ppr leagues as well. I think he’s more of a fringe top 10 RB for fantasy in that format. I think analysts get too caught up in targets and receptions that they forget that there are some really good fucking runners in the league.

Aaron Jones is the perfect example of this where seemingly year after year after year people spin this narrative that he had RB1 overall potential because of the offense and a projected increase in the passing game and then he ends up being more of an RB1/2 because he’s stuck in a near-even timeshare so he relies on excellent efficiency and, while he is efficient, it’s just not enough volume to get there.

And I use Jones as an example because I actually think he and Swift are similar players for fantasy where there are more fringe RB1/2 guys that are going a bit too high than where I’d feel comfortable taking them.

Ranking the RBs I've realized that, without accounting for injury, there are a lot of really good RBs.

Also, I had both Jones and Swift on my team in a half ppr league last year. It seem VERY fun in September and October. Got real bleak for me by the end of the year when Dillon started coming on and Swift wasn’t seeing as many targets as he was when Anthony Lynn was calling plays while the Lions were dogshit

I'm very high on both of them. I do think the answer to "who gets Davante's targets" is "the RBs"

This, absolutely. There are about 16 RBs I’d feel comfortable with rolling as my RB1 at the right price. Like, I might be lower on some than some platforms, but I recognize that I could be wrong and I still want exposure to some of those backs in those scenarios!

I think Jones and Dillon see a bump, but I think most of them just go to the clown show of WRs and Tonyan
