The only reason I even reacted like this is cause Matt is ALWAYS a dick about stats and never lets me voice my opinion on it- which, yeah I’m gonna point it out again cause you all already think I’m being a douche - is an educated opinion. It’s actually my passion and career and Matt can’t even be bothered to divide 72 by 3 without asking people. It’s asinine how somehow I still look like the pretentious one here when he’s legit constantly trying to talk down to me on stats discussions.

Every time I’m like “hey this is more nuanced than that” he’s like “you don’t HAVE to be BIASED and pull shit out of your ass” and yeah on limited sleep during a double at work I got fucking sick of it. At some point you can admit that my reservations about some stats is at least a fair point to raise

 

I know I may not be familiar with preexisting dynamics here so apologies if I’m overstepping but both of you just kept going and going and guys it’s July 30th, we’re still 5 weeks from kickoff, pick your battles I guess?

God it truly does. And all of the menus draaaaag. Took me almost 10 minutes to navigate to and download peacock just so I could watch Summerslam.

I keep the Xbox in the living room & the PS4 in a bedroom and pretty much only use the PS4 to watch wrestling or sports when my fiancé is in the living room

 

I've got the XBS but i need to recover my account cause I'm locked out lol. Then I can get destroyed by @Dinkleberg lol

 

Even if I get a current gen system you won’t convince me to play against a real person. I like to mute the tv, listen to a podcast and beat teams by 50 points and that is it

 

that’s how I play the show lmao, I jack up the slider settings to cranking out like 15 homers a game while listening to westworld podcasts lmao

If I feel myself getting stressed or anxious while playing almost any game I put it down. I just wanna relaaaaaax.

I tried playing Back 4 Blood last year and I think I stopped after half an hour? because it was just too hectic for me

 

I was playing the quarry and like the split decision scenarios you have to go through in the game gave me anxiety lol

 

How is it??? Have you played Until Dawn??

 

I can very rarely make it through a non-sports game. I actually went through Guardians of The Galaxy pretty quickly but Red Dead 2 and God of War 2018 took me months to finish

and that’s part of the reason I can’t justify buying a PS5!

 

It’s good!! I do like it once I got used to the premise, definitely wait for a sale though. The game is roughly 10-12 hours depending on how you play it. I haven’t played until Dawn yet, I probably will fairly soon though.

 

Righteous. My wife loves Until Dawn but wasn't sure about paying full price for the Quarry. I need to finish it still

 

I JUST started beating games like last year so I feel you. In terms of time from starting to finish it took me several years to beat Skyrim and Bloodborne

 

yeah if you are into until Dawn definitely check out the quarry when it’s discounted.

 

I’m sorry guys. Im still learning how to be a less randomly uptight human. Even if I felt I was making a multifaceted point and felt dismissed for the 1000th time by Matt, I definitely should’ve just stopped posting for like one hour and I probably would’ve just forgot about it. I know Matt well and know he gets in moods where he doesn’t feel like giving an inch and I shouldn’t be so annoyed when he has some confidence in his opinions too. A lot of that was me lashing out about him often being very concise and able to get his point across and me having the opposite problem, I feel misrepresented a lot and get flustered because I can’t keep my side of the discussion simple and digestible. but that’s just as much my own fault as anyone’s.

I’m glad too! I suck at music but really enjoy playing it, but it’s very very hard for me haha. Feels good to “find ourselves” though, being on the spectrum is hard and it’s been many uncomfortable years leading to now (and I definitely still struggle with it at times but it’s much less “everything is on fire” than it used to feel)
