Big fan of McGrone but he probably should've stayed in school for another season.

Never a fan of undersized pass rushers like Perkins. Guys like that have a hard time disengaging from blockers and get taken out in the run game.

 

Yeah Perkins was really overrated coming out too. People were talking about 2nd or 3rd round grade on him.

Edit, I don’t find this the worst take but maybe the most interesting that I never really hear about and can’t even remember where I first heard it.

Elway paid off Favre to help him finally win a Super Bowl and the two were buds so Favre went along with it because A) they were friends B) Favre thought they would get back to the Super Bowl again and C) Favre needed the money to help with certain addictions and problems he was facing.

when Elway didn’t retire and played again next year and won again Favre was pissed and the two haven’t talked since.

not sure if any of that is true but I find his late game TERRIBLE interception suspicious. Not that the man hasn’t thrown numerous horrible interceptions but still.
