Some of these draft types clearly barely pay attention to the NFL roster machinations and it shows

 

So it seems the Falcons are going to continue with their mismanagement of their roster and cap

 

It’s why I don’t give a shit about mock drafts because a significant majority of them are pointless, especially this early in the offseason lol

 

Jerry Reese won two super bowls as a gm and hasn’t been with an nfl team in any way since he got fired in 2017. Ryan pace immediately gets a nice job a few months later, interesting how that works lol

To add to this, Im not sure its useful to differentiate between levels of rapists, but, it does seem that Watson is on that echelon with a Bill Cosby where he has SO MANY cases. If everyone he's ever crossed the line with came forward, we're talking an entire NFL roster of women.

To trade for that guy, especially after Ben, would really belie the notion that the Steelers are a quality organization or that their ownership in any way cares about making things better. Which may well be the case...but for now...

the Packers have rarely been built like a superbowl team is the problem. Usually they literally are an average team that is carried by a way elite QB. Only lately have they had things like defense and a running game lol (and Packers fans should be P I S S E D they just lost to a way worse 49ers team, Imo GB should’ve been NFC favorites as good as they were this year)

 

Their 2016 run to the NFC title game where they got destroyed by Atlanta and even the year before when they lost to Arizona proves this so well - those were bad rosters carried by Rodgers

 

It’s ironic that the year GB won a Super Bowl with Rodgers it was the defense that carried them most of the way in the playoffs and every year since then has mostly been a liability and great QB has only been able to get them so far (which makes sense since defense is more than just one single person)

 

that 2010 defense whipped ass - shut down Chicago twice in 4 weeks and put Matt Ryan in hell

 

did they have a pick-six in all 4 playoff games? I know they did against Chicago and Pittsburgh but not sure about the other two games. But just doing that in 2 playoff games in one year is rare.

that alone won the game against Chicago and helped them go up 14 early against Pittsburgh.

Sure, put it off if you want, keep speeding and getting pulled over … you’ll end up with $5k in extra court fees and a suspended license eventually though

 

If they’re good enough to be 12-4 every year and make the playoffs and win the division they’re good enough to at least appear in the super bowl more than once in his career lol. I’m not holding him to that high of a standard.

i am not and will never be someone who thinks “we have a 200+ game sample on Aaron Rodgers — let’s reduce it to 20 games and make major career narrative decisions based on that” but concede that his GOAT QB ranking ceiling is a bit capped by only having 1 ring (ie. will never pass Brady unless he also goes on an ungodly stretch of insane personal and team performance in his 40s, it’s a tiebreaker against him vs someone like Manning unless he wins another, etc)

but I also don’t think rankings should be a reverse sorted list of championship winning QBs as a main criteria of choosing

 

His GOAT QB ranking ceiling is capped because he’s a lil piss baby

 

Rodgers’ only argument for approaching goat status is lack of interceptions which is just not nearly enough. Stafford led the league in ints in the regular season and it didn’t matter because guess what he was huge in the clutch in the playoffs. Rodgers threw like no interceptions but sucked shit in the clutch in the playoffs again. Also check is ints in nfc championship games—he has to be dinged for not being great in the biggest moments against the best teams.
At some point we have to separate these guys by what they do to win the biggest games because that’s really what we all want in our qbs.

 

Only thing Rodgers is clutch at is being a huge fucking diaper boy
