    The rivalry is back on

the stat I’ll give in support of Rodgers is that you cannot find a stretch of two consecutive full seasons in Brady, Manning, or Montana’s careers that have fewer combined INTs thrown than in Rodgers’ last 4 seasons combined (and in most cases, you can make it 5) — and those aren’t outlier seasons

I have but hopefully McDaniel and Frank Smith and Applebaum can help fix that

but I still want 2 new starters in FA regardless

I think I hold him up as arguably the most talented of all time. Which makes me ding him HARD for his playoff record. Like I know I’m spoiled having had Brady but you could only get to the big dance once????

I dont really think its that big a question that Rodgers is top 5. The thing he and Brady share is they rarely had more than one elite receiving option and are often making do with the kind of dogshit 3rd WR that would make a Peyton Manning lose his damn mind. Also, putting up 4500yds and 30+ TDs in most seasons with like a 4:1 TD to INT ratio with that situation.

Some of his efficiency stats are Gretzgy like, where he's just so far ahead of everyone else. He's like 10pts better in passer rating that every other historical QB (with the elite guys all bunched up at 94-96ish while he's at 105), his INT/100 throws is like 40% lower than the next best.

Im actually genuinely curious if Marino would just be exactly who he was. Like, he got 2021 passing attempt numbers and his production looks a lot like Peyton Manning. I think its hard to argue he'd magically halve his INT numbers with a different scheme. He threw as many INTs in his first 5 seasons as Rodgers is gonna throw in 15+ season career. Dude was just reckless with the ball, he's got multiple seasons where every 25th throw is an INT. Rodgers will go 250 throws without one.

Montana, eh...he comes up real soft statistically in his own era. He feels like more than any QB a guy who is propped up by the rings.

My hometown area doesnt have a lot going for it overall, but man, the density of god tier food that comes from within a county of me is VERY high.

Hersheys, Utz, Martins, Snyders, Turkey Hill, Auntie Annes, and then even Godiva is made like 15mins from where I grew up. If you're trying to clog your arteries fast, we got you.

They are...not good. In about the same number of games, Rodgers has 50+% more TDs while having 40 fewer INTs. 15,000 more yards. Hell, count in double the rushing yards and TDs too.

There is a nearly 100% chance Aaron rodgers will end his career with 50% more yards, double the # of TDs, and only like, 10 more interceptions.

Tbh though his stats are so far ahead of everyone else in the 80s that he might as well have been the former Tom Brady. If we are comparing apples to apples literally no one else was putting up 2:1 TD / INT ratios that consistently and no one else had a 90+ QB rating either
