Man, I did the right thing putting Woodson under Packers instead of Raiders.

In just 6 years with the Packers, from
2006-2011, in the ripe old ages of 30-35, he had:

    51 turnovers (37 INT, 14 FF)
    10 sacks
    Fucking, 10 defensive touchdowns
    And averaged over 60 tackles

while playing as an outside CB and being responsible for a WR at least half the time

that might be the most insane stretch of any Super Bowl-era defensive back tbh

Bakhtiari is my favorite left tackle in the league right now but I don’t really have any tackles on these lists lol. Tony Boselli made honorable mention on my all time favorites list and that’s only because 1) he was Jag 2) he was the only surefire HOF player we’ve ever had 3) before a career ending injury, Boselli was untouchably good & looked like he had potential to be the GOAT even over Munoz if he had longevity.

Fred’s my favorite but I still admit it’s subjective whether you consider him truly “one of the best ever”. Boselli is objectively one of the best ever - even if you knock him for lacking longevity and not winning any rings, his 6 seasons from 1995-2000 are some of the best offensive tackle performances ever on record.

I don’t want to be the “well actually person” but based on your reasoning for excluding some players, I would think about removing Jim Brown. As a Browns fan, Jim Brown has a questionable past. Full of assault charges on women who would later drop the charges. Some skating the being into minor lines with getting engaged to an 18-year old in the 70’s. As great as he was and his running style, I’m pretty sure that has some effect on his actions post playing career, but still it’s not great. At a minimum, he appears to have anger management issues. Jim Brown has always been a mixed bag growing up.

Did not know that, thank you for pointing that out.

To be clear, when I said he had an amazing legacy that was more referring to the path he carved for a formerly white-only NFL to acknowledge, respect, and include black athletes / black athletic excellence as a big part of the game. Did not know he had a long sketchy record with women (but also not surprised).

Yeah, it’s a messy topic and why Cleveland struggled bringing Brown into the fold for when the team was returning and still new. He was going through legal stuff and eventually did some jail time.

Yep. There was some financial stuff that happened with him too. I don’t know the specifics, but he did some sort of making amends before the team brought him back in at different points, but I’m not entirely sure what that included beyond issuing some apologies for past behavior. So again, it’s messy, and I know I don’t know everything, but most people I know in Cleveland have always had a “great player but” approach to him.

Delete them and the Browns go back to 30 teams & 6 divisions, top 2 in every division make it in plus 1 wildcard spot per conference

/kidding, I know damn well y’all would delete the Jaguars just as quickly, and I also know damn well this is a league wide problem not just the two teams caught guilty
