Also at least the Cardinals had a chance to win the game. Steelers final drive started on the 22 with a ten yard holding penalty taking them to the 12. They couldn't stop santonio Holmes lol.

 

Could easily argue the Steelers wouldnt have been a touchdown away from the superbowl though haha

I get that there’s missed calls in every game but this isn’t me finding some guy on the other side of the field or seeing something subtle on the replay, this was blatant and happened right in front of the ball carrier. All ref eyes should’ve seen it

 

Yeah that was some bullshit lol I ain’t never gonna shut up about it until we go back to an AFCCG. That’s a call refs have no excuse to get wrong and pretty much never get wrong otherwise

 

Impossible to know that though. The game would have changed but that changes strategy and play calling and what not.

both the refs and our shitty coaches had to work hard to lose us that game, if it was just bad fourth quarter coaching we still would’ve coasted to a win

And then yeah there's always this, changing 1 call or even many calls doesn't leave every other play/strategy/mistake in the game the exact same

 

I tend to think this way too but it’s also hard to argue that in most games, big swings in points from ref calls are literally gonna be the difference in the game and that’s ok and part of it

IE. In Tennessee/Indy last year, the Colts got some sort of defensive turnover for a touchdown, the refs made some sort of stupid call as to why it wasn’t a turnover, and then Tennessee scored on the next play (net 14 point swing in two plays). It’s easy to say “shouldn’t have put yourself in that position” or “Carson Wentz shouldn’t have been a dingus and thrown a left handed pass from his end zone at the end of the game”, which are all true, but in practice, it’s hard to win an NFL game to begin with, much less getting a two score buffer in every game as the end all be all to “deserving” a win after a blown call

 

You can still that and the refs will still blow it, but I do agree with you.
