And now he’s going in the 12th round in the USFL? Ouch.

    there is one way out

They draft a different position in each round. So round 1 and round 12 were QBs. So we was drafted as a back up. Lol.

But former NFL great, Kyle Lauletta was a first round pick.

Man arguing with people who really don’t understand football is infuriating. I took the bait on someone arguing Montana > Brady. I am ashamed.

Honestly it’s this dude who does nothing but argue that anything old is better than anything new and it drives me crazy.

He trolls me because one night I may have said it would be better politically for the nation if anyone in office over the age of 45 was taken out back behind the barn lol.

I’ll almost buy that Montana had a greater peak run than Brady and that if he had more time in SF maybe he makes it an argument. But even that really falls apart when you factor in the insane individual production that Brady had, especially in the last third of his career.
Honestly it’s just not close, there is no argument for anyone against Brady. It’s boring at this point.

His argument was "Montana would have insane numbers in the Brady era and Brady would be dead in the modern era." But I don't buy that one bit. Montana's numbers would have been sick sure, but Brady would be just fine then too since he gets the ball away quicker than anyone can say Omaha. I also argued Brady has had to go against the most complex defenses the NFL has ever seen since they have to scheme their way through as opposed to just murder people and he laughed that off but like...Brady would have torched the basic concepts of the 1970s and 1980s haha.

I don’t see a state being named after Brady hard to argue facts

I think people forget that Brady won 3 Super Bowls when you could crush the quarterback. And he led the league in touchdowns his second year throwing to nobody. He was going to get better and dominate no matter what, maybe he doesn’t make it to 44 though.

Yep. It's just a weird pathway olds love to get to "i miss when football was football" which itself is a gross take.

Also, the Packers are still $40m over the cap so they have a lot more work to do thank just restructuring Clark’s contract

Saints aren’t $76m over the cap solely because of Hill
