Brandin Cooks has had to have one of the weirder careers ever in the NFL. You would assume he is really injury prone, right? Turns out hes only missed 4 games the past 7 years.

And he already has 6 seasons of 1,000+ yards. If he has another 1-2, you PROBABLY have to start consider him for Canton, no? Not saying I WOULD, but the numbers dont lie there...

 

If only goff threw an accurate pass lol

 

Yeah Cooks has had an odd career, all he’s done is produce and he continually gets traded

 

Cooks is a really good receiver that never gets the recognition he deserves. I would love it if the Eagles traded a day two pick for him. They’ve shown interest in him in the past, especially when he ultimately got traded to the Pats

idk, Anquan Boldin is a good example that being consistently good but rarely (never?) among the best at your position doesn’t necessarily lead to strong HOF consideration at WR. Being 0x Pro Bowl and 0x All Pro seems like a non-starter for HOF consideration unless he suddenly emerges as such in his 30s

 

That guy is just giving an opinion, there's no reason to trade Cooks, his contract is very serviceable and he wouldn't bring back much in a trade. He provides more value being a reliable target for Mills for another season.

Im not quite sure Tunsil gets moved either, that one can go either way

 

I would absolutely take Cooks back for like...N'Keal Harry and a 6th :D

Doesn’t Cooks have a history like 3 concussions? Not saying it diminishes his talent but I felt like that was always the injury he got. I remember he got rocked in a SB with the Pats and I think he got knocked out of the SB against the Pats when he was with the Rams oddly enough

he was a high school quarterback who ran track. He was so good he was voted onto the all-time Florida high school football player team from 1907-2007.

Then FSU converts him to WR and he only plays two seasons at the position. And then at the Combine he measures 6’0” 218 (so not tall or particularly flexible / lean) and runs a fuckin 4.7 somehow? Nowadays he’d have fell to day 3 just because of his Combine.

but then his rookie season he sets an NFL record for receiving yards in a game by a rookie (217), and then is the fastest player at the time to reach 300 catches (47 games - OBJ since broke that record in 45 games).

So somehow he was an immediate sure thing at WR despite only playing the position two years and then having an awful Combine lol

 

Boldin set that rookie record against the Lions. We took Charles Rogers second overall that draft lol
