Imo it depends how high you are on that safety. Most of the time they aren’t worth it. However, Eric Berry was. Sean Taylor would’ve been if he wasn’t murdered (dude had literally 20 turnovers and 240 SOLO tackles / 300 total in 3.5 total seasons)

 

Tbh, Taylor was worth it even WITH the career cut short. He accumulated turnovers & tackles at a faster rate than even Earl Thomas / Harrison Smith and, even crazier, literally has more total INTS/FF in those 3 years than Berry had in his WHOLE CAREER

I only did trades that were offered to me. Lions give us 2 and 24 for 1. Eagles give us 10, 14, and 23 for 2 and a 3rd. If only.

 

There's definitely not a trade back happening at 1, but the Jags would be smart to take a little less than face value for it just because they have so many holes.

@Night Channels whats your take on Thibodeaux vs Hutchinson, what makes you rank Thib higher

 

Thibodeaux is a significantly better athlete.

 

I definitely agree that Thibs is the better athlete but I think Hutchinson is the better player right now and definitely the safer option.

 

So burks is the best wr or is it close? Or is that list not in any specific order?

 

its definitely close. @Night Channels tends to prioritize “who is the most rare / scary athlete” this early in the process if the skill sets aren’t far off

like Burks is not a consensus #1 by any stretch. He runs a limited route tree and probably needs coaching before he knows how to consistently get open against NFL level coverage. But his hands in traffic and run after catch skills are off the charts
