  1. lmao x 2

  2. it's interesting that this is kinda the opposite way of how the Favre shit played out - they let him go to give a young QB a chance and this time the franchise is trying it the other way lol

It was definitely tough on the Eagles last year when they had to cut

    *checks notes*

    Alshon Jeffery and Malik Jackson

So what’s the status with Za’Darius Smith? Are the Packers keeping one of the best edge rushers of 2019/2020 or are they gonna cut him just because they can?

  6. Rodgers, Watson, and Jimmy g were my fears even though none of them are realistic.

    One down, two to go.

    Why isn’t Jimmy G realistic?

  8. Za'Darius Smith played 1 quarter in 2021 lol - they don't need him anymore with the emergence of Rashan Gary lol

So what? He was still one of the best players at his position for two years. If the Packers are trying to win a super bowl, isn’t it wise to have depth at edge rusher beyond two starters before you start playing a bunch of goofballs that would barely make the roster otherwise? This isn’t Madden where you can just turn injuries off lol

Well guys, it’s time for Dean Lowry to step up!

  14. that's true for every team lol - there isn't any team that can keep that much depth at each position at that price point regardless of cap status lol

  15. the cap is definitely real because the Packers won't probably keep a dude who played 1 quarter in 2021!!!!!!!

  16. sign me up I guess lol

The Eagles did it in 2017 and it was fucking sick

    okay

  19. that was a cool eagles team for sure

  20. maybe they are getting rid of Zadarius Smith so they can sign Von Miller lmao

And they’re going to continue doing it despite having Josh Sweat and Brandon Graham. They’re going to draft an edge rusher at 15 or 16 and you can write it in pen. They’ve done it for years now because it helps to have depth at premium positions

Yeah or it's actually $198 million or something and McAfee is being pedantic. Also Rapoport goes on McAfee's show somewhat regularly (which I only know because Rapoport retweets the clips) so they don't have heat or anything

I’ve read that they are interested in Uchenna Nwosu, which could be a great move considering he’d be a scheme fit, cheaper, and younger

I sneakily like this. Dude’s been a fine WR3 and can been solid depth if they still dip their toes in free agency and the draft for better starters
