It’s too perfect of a fit for the local kid/hyped U of M prospect to fall to Detroit, whose biggest need this side of finding a franchise QB is an elite pass rusher. I can be swayed between the top 3 pass rushers depending on the team, but specifically like the fit of Hutch best if they’re supposedly shifting more towards having 4 down linemen in Detroit this season

 

The Houston Football Texans select Travon Walker, EDGE, Georgia

I’m gonna pick what I think they should do, not what I think they end up doing (Sauce). Adding a player as versatile as Walker should do wonders in that defense, between shoring up their beyond awful run defense (and having ends that can defend the run is a must in Lovie’s defense), potentially freeing up Greenard to further develop as a pass rusher, and slotting Houston with solid 4 down linemen with whom they can get pressure without dialing up blitzes like they tend to not.

god damn beast. If the Jags needed a corner I might want him #1. He has averaged 17 yards allowed per game in coverage and allowed 0 touchdowns. The only corner I’ve personally scouted who was more impressive is Ramsey.

hes 6’3”, physical and agile as all fuck. He’s stupid competitive and likes to get in your face when he just locked you down. He recognizes route combinations.

Wink Martindale obviously loves man to man, he was willing to go balls to the wall against Chase and Tee Higgins without a healthy secondary TWICE even after they burned him the first time. This time he gets the talent he needs to be that aggressive. Put Sauce next to James Bradberry, one of the Giants best players rn… and slide Adoree Jackson into the slot where he excels.

Not the best year to move away from your franchise’s best quarterback, but oh well. I’m banking on the athletic profile here. I think Arthur Smith can help develop him. I mean he got the most out of that turd Tannehill.

I also don’t hate a QB room of Mariota and Willis. No rush to start right away but can also function with similar offenses and structure.

I’ve really kinda bought into teams need to be ready to draft a QB but, I’m also a hypocrite and I can’t turn down a chance to get QB1 on a cheap 5 year deal and try to build around him. Jordan Davis just won’t excite a fanbase that lost Matt Ryan and Calvin Ridley and Julio and 28-3 etc etc.
