Lions select Chad Muma, LB, Wyoming Alex Anzalone and Derrick Barnes aren’t exactly the most awe inspiring pair of starting LBs so the Lions add some more talent to the position group
Y’all must not like my favorite players this year. Giants select Leo Chenal, ILB, Wisconsin. Giants badly need linebacker talent
Texans select Alec Pierce, WR, Cincinnati As long as it’s not a pick in the first two rounds, I like Pierce a lot. Texans take one of my favorite mid round receivers in this draft to pair with my favorite mid round receiver in last year’s draft (Collins)
@Night Channels nice work so far. I'm thoroughly lost at what I think the Bills will do I'm the first round, I think it depends heavily on how the board falls. Pickens definitely fits the scheme long term but with the Diggs extension I assume they're going to consider Diggs/Davis locked in outside for 2 years and look for a slot guy and then look to get a long term outside guy down the road. Depending on how the board falls IRL I would think their top targets are Andrew Booth and Breece Hall. IOL is still a concern long term but having Saffold in the mix and bringing Ryan Bates back means they can try to get a developmental guy instead of a plug and play starter. CB is a DESPERATE need imo. Tre White is either healing at a superhero rate or is gonna be a PUP candidate with his ACL tear coming so late in the season. Levi Wallace is off to become the son of whichever Bengals and Ravens WR he has to cover. Woolen definitely seems like a Bills scheme guy.... Especially since with him being so big and raw, they could probably transition him back to safety if he can't hang with NFL WR in coverage at CB and that's another need with Micah Hyde and Jordan Poyer on the wrong side of 30 (and Poyer hiring Rosenhaus which we know means he wants to get paid)
Also it me, team NO FIRST ROUND RB falling in love with a late first round RB on the Bills for the second year in a row. Etienne and now Hall. What have I become?
The Bears select Logan Hall, Edge, Houston I feel like I’ve done a pretty good job catching talent slipping past their value. Without having a first, catching Dotson in the 2nd is big and I think catching Hall in the 3rd is pretty exciting too. A good match of value+massive need. He played inside and out but I think Chicago will have him more on the edge than anything.
Lions select Wan’Dale Robinson, WR, Kentucky I think the WR need for them is a bit overstated (most sites I have looked at have that listed as the far and away top need), since Amon-Ra has broken out, they have Chark for this year, and Reynolds + Cephus are fine, if uninspiring, but taking a mid-round pick or two at the position and hoping they hit sounds smart, and Wan’Dale would add another very fun dimension to that group of playmakers
