With the 107th pick the Houston Texans select Kyren Williams, RB, Notre Dame While Kyren Williams won't fill the role as a workhorse back, he will provide a versatile weapon out of the backfield for Pep Hamilton to sprinkle in on short passing downs. He also brings immediate value as a viable pass protector. With the 108th pick the Houston Texans select Dylan Parham, G, Memphis The Texans feel they found great value with Parham in the 4th round. While his fit may not be immediate at Guard in a more power run scheme, he could eventually find his snaps at Center, as Justin Britt is far from a long-term solution.
Seattle Seahawks selects Josh Jobe, CB, Alabama Physical corner with long arms and loves to press. Seems like a good fit for Seattle and good value in the 4th round.
Ravens select Myjai Sanders, EDGE, Cincinnati Undersized pass rusher but I generally believe him that he was sick on the day of the Combine, he’s back up to 247 now. I think the Combine listing of 228 is misleading. And honestly they have Jayson Oweh so what do they care? Just go get the QB. after drafting Leo Chenal, Cam Thomas, and John Ridgeway I think I have some license to draft a speed guy as well. Myjai similarly wins with electric feet and extremely long arms, and is very adept at arm-over moves, spin moves, and flexible dip rushes to gain a leverage edge and use the opponent’s weight against them. He’ll slot in nicely as a rotating rusher with Oweh and Thomas. Also I’ve literally drafted five defensive players lmao this team clearly has work to do to compete with CIN.
Jets select: Jojo Domann - Linebacker - Nebraska New school LB with ridiculous coverage ability. LB is a huge area of need for the Jets, so Domann comes in and contributes right away in Saleh's base nickel defense.
Probably would’ve took Jurgens for Jacksonville yesterday if I knew Linder was retiring lol good for Linder though. Dudes been hurt so much in the last 5 years and he spent his whole career with a bottom 3 team basically (except for 2017.) I’m glad he is moving on and taking care of himself in his 30s, no reason to drag out his career through another rebuild if there’s no Super Bowl in sight, he’ll have a happier life in his 40s-50s by taking care of his body now. Nothing but respect for how professionally he handled all the adversity, and how he never let a bad team around him affect how he was gonna play. Very rarely since 2010 have we gotten that opportunity to have a talented player who actually wanted to stick with us for so long.
Washington Communications Majors select Jerreth Sterns, WR, Western Kentucky Ron wants to win now. Idk how he plans to do that with Carson Wentz but that's not my problem. Sterns made Bailey Zappe look draftable, maybe he can help make Wentz look startable. Atlanta Falcons select Sean Rhyan, IOL, UCLA I hate Jalen Mayfield. If not for Jackson Carman, he would've been my least favorite OL pick in the first two days. He is not good at football and will not be good at football and I don't care if he's only played one season - back to the bench. Denver Broncos select Nate Landman, LB, Colorado and Tyler Allgeier, RB, BYU Local depth bois
Jets select: Cade Otton - Tight End - Washington TE3 behind Uzomah and Conklin. LaFleur is going to run a ton of two tight end sets in 2022. Otton provides insurance/depth behind the free agent signings and he also has some scheme versatility to play flexed out in certain looks.
Cleveland selects Matt Waletzko, T, North Dakota He has the body to develop into a LT — can NFL coaching bring it all together?
