Yeah, losing Russ, whenever it happens, is going to hurt. But Cross and Karlaftis is a pretty nice haul if it happens this year.
I don't mind taking the Steelers since a couple of my teams are low on picks. But if someone else wants them, go for it.
Pittsburgh Steelers select Sam Howell, QB, UNC The current hype is all around Malik Willis, and while the Steelers are one of the teams supposedly eyeing him, I think the hype will eventually simmer. One of the reasons I think it'll die down is because Sam Howell is flat out the better QB. Falling down to the 20s and to a team like the Steelers is such a perfect scenario for Howell. While their OL isn't great, he will be walking into a team with a phenomenal young RB, an emerging young TE, and a strong group of receivers. Howell has been largely overlooked during the early phases of the draft process and I'm not sure why. Throughout his college career he has consistently shown his arm strength and deep ball accuracy. There is an argument that he's had the best deep ball in the country his entire time at UNC. Another part of his game that sticks out is his mobility. Not just moving around the pocket and avoiding sacks, but his rushing ability. This past season he had over 800 yards rushing and 11 rushing TDs. He is a legit dual threat QB and the type of QB teams of today's modern game are always searching for.
The Dallas Cowboys have traded pick 24 (round 1) and pick 127 (round 4) for the New England Patriots pick 21 (round 1). The Dallas Cowboys select Nakobe Dean - LB - Georgia. Analysis: I like him. I think he's good and also not bad.
I was telling Dustin that if I was in charge of the Pats, Dean would have been the pick but Bill just is set on 250+lb linebackers and it's annoying lol
I see him pretty different than Parsons and as the player I'd most want right now out of who's available. Of course, it's hard to go full GM mode in these otherwise I'd be making much more drastic moves to improve the Cowboys but I do think out of what's realistic it's my ideal move. I'm also assuming Dallas keeps 3 of their top 4 WRs in this. (Lamb and Cooper plus one of either Gallup or Wilson, with Cooper on the block.) Had we started later I might plan as if things are different but here we are.
The Las Vegas Raiders select Chris Olave - WR - Ohio State Analysis: He fast. Henry Ruggs is a peice of shit. And I like him
lol i mean, i'm aware of why Bill feels that way, i'm also aware that we'll never beat the Bills that way but regardless, CARDINALS UP BAYBAY
