I would've mentioned him too if he weren't ded. Having him AND Deebo would've been ridiculous

Rice's Jordan Myers could end up being a weapon in the league.

Chigoziem Okonkwo is one of the most versatile players in this class. Maryland gave him three carries in 2018 - he scored on all three. They never handed him the ball again.

    He's a hell of a receiver for an H-Back. I think he's a Day 2 pick.

    BTJ is back. Prestigious

@xkj1985x WAS in Seattle area and then moved I’m 99% positive

@whitenblue88 replaced him when he got his big shot “oh I have an MBA, let me skip the line a bit” job. Now he and @theagentcoma are the only Seattle bois unless @chcougar1 still posts

Yes, I moved to Idaho (where I was raised) about two years ago. Bought a big ass house with a big ass yard for the same price I could buy a tiny box in the Seattle area. Probably one of the better decisions I've made in adulthood.

Selection incoming....just doing my write up.

With the 15th Pick in the 2022 NFL Draft, the Philadelphia Eagles select:

    Ahmad "Sauce" Gardner|Cornerback|Cincinnati
    USATSI_17202657.jpeg

Howie Roseman and the Eagles have done a terrible job at finding a solid #2 corner behind Darius Slay who remains one of the better cornerbacks in the league. Taking a shot here on Sauce Gardner makes a ton of sense from not only a need standpoint but also a best available perspective as well.

Darius Slay might only have a year or two left with the Eagles (if not a career) so this hopefully allows Sauce time to groom to takeover that #1 corner spot in the next few seasons.

Sauce should be a Week 1 starter opposite of Slay since they simply don't really have anywhere as of right now. Nakobe Dean also was in deep consideration here because the Eagles need LBs in the worst way but the long standing track record of the Eagles not drafting LBs high will likely extend to another year whether I like it or not. Husky homerism almost got me here too with Trent McDuffie and Kyler Gordon on the board but I maintained by strong will to not go there for now.

    *****TRADE*****

The Philadelphia Eagles trade the picks #16 and #19 in the 2022 NFL Draft along with a 2023 conditional 3rd round pick* and QB Jalen Hurts to the Seattle Seahawks for QB Russell Wilson, Pick #41 (2nd Round) in the 2022 NFL Draft, and a 2023 4th Round Pick

*2023 conditional 3rd becomes a 2nd with any playoff berth. Can become a 1st if the Eagles make the NFC Championship*

With this being the first mock draft of the year, I figured I'd send it off the rails a bit. Do I think this is actually going to happen? While it's certainly possible, I don't think so but this is what I'd like to see so let's just roll with it.

Jalen Hurts had some really fun moments in his one and a half seasons as the starter for the Eagles. However, he's had a lot more "ugh" moments. The Eagles were able to sneak into the playoffs this year only to get their doors blown off because the offense just could not move the ball at all.

Hurts is such a cool dude and incredibly easy to root for....but I don't think you are getting to a top of the mountain with him ever.

Howie Roseman goes for it with this move by bringing in one of the best QBs in the league and immediately elevates the Eagles up into the discussion with the Cowboys in the NFC East if not competing for one of the top spots in the NFC.

This trade for me hinges on what the Eagles do in free agency....are they able to sign a #2 WR and a few pieces for the defense? If so, a move like this makes a ton of sense and you should go for it.

If they strikeout in free agency, they'll likely build through the draft and give Hurts another season while likely parlaying one of their 1sts this year into a 1st next year to give them ammo in a much better QB class.

The Seattle Seahawks (@Swoos) are on the clock.

  14. Russ gets his wish and is off the greener pastures. Seahawks get a nice jump at the rebuild with two firsts this year and a young QB who can at least be a solid stopgap for them.

Seattle Seahawks select Charles Cross, OT, Miss St

This has got to be the easiest pick in the draft tbh. You guys are poised to have absurd defensive talent fall to you. Go D 15/16 and best receiver at 19. you've got a stew bb. I see a lot of Sauce/Lloyd/London which my god

That is EXACTLY how I see it playing out. Reagor is a bust so they need to get a #2 WR in FA or the Draft in Round 1. Period. But yes, they need to go heavy defensively no matter what.

The Los Angeles Chargers select Andrew Booth Jr., CB, Clemson

The Chargers are in a tough spot. Their roster, which was aging and not good enough last year, could potentially have massive turnover. There are about 5 or 6 directions I could go here and feel good about so I had to ask myself - which of these will be hardest to fill in free agency. That's an easy answer. Booth paired with Asante Samuel and hopefully a living breathing Chris Harris Jr. could turn around and be a scary secondary next season.

I am just green with envy at you guys. I want your draft situation so bad. Trade me those picks for Kayvon or something.

    The rivalry is back on

The New Orleans Saints select Garrett Wilson, WR, Ohio St

I very badly want to go EDGE here because that’s where the value on the board is right now, but after investing so heavily there in recent years, the Saints instead grab another Ohio St receiver for Michael Thomas to soon pass the WR1 torch to

Patriots are looking to trade down from 21 if anyone is looking to move up.

  25. Seattle Seahawks select George Karlaftis, EDGE, Purdue

Seattle’s defense has not been very good recently. Best way to start rebuilding that side of the ball is getting a premier pass rusher. Karlaftis has the potential to become that type of player. He is an absolute beast off the line and will be a handful for any OLman. One of my favorite parts of his game is his ability to read the play and react. He just finds his way to the ball even when it doesn’t come his way.

After trading away their franchise QB, Seattle starts the rebuild by investing in a top pass protector and a potential top pass rusher.
