With the 10th overall pick, the New York Jets select: Treylon Burks - Wideout - Arkansas Another weapon for Wilson. An ideal fit as a big slot in the Shanahan scheme. The Deebo comparisons are way off base, but Burks should be able to handle a lot of work in the screen and jet game.
Minnesota Vikings select Derek Stingley Jr., CB, LSU. Peterson is an old. Alexander is a free agent. Stingley, while he hasn't lived up to his incredible freshman season, is still the top corner in the draft.
Cleveland Browns select Jameson Williams, WR, Alabama Browns clearly need a new weapon with the departure of OBJ. Despite the injury, Williams is my favorite receiver in the draft and a great fit for what the Browns need in their offense. Cleveland was hit pretty hard with injuries last year so I get being cautious about drafting a guy who is currently injured, but his ceiling is well worth it. Plus, half their OL and their QB will be rehabbing. So could be a bonding experience! Baker isn't a perfect QB by any means, but I still like him. I'm not sure why he chose to play through so many injuries, but he is expected to get healthy this offseason, along with his OL, and I could see him having a strong bounce back season. Adding a guy like Jameson Williams would certainly help with that.
Ravens select Tyler Lindenbaum, C, Iowa. slam dunk pick for the offensive line. Lindenbaum comes from a program whose entire lineage basically is developing effective run blockers. John Harbaugh has gotten Lamar some receivers but it became apparent this year that interior pressure fucks him up a lot. Bradley Bozeman is a free agent and wasn’t that good anyway. This years best center should slot in nicely and pave new paths for the return of JK Dobbins.
Imagine Lindenbaum just absolutely road grading a dude 15 yards downfield like this while Lamar follows his lead & then cuts around him
In the actual draft, I'm really hoping the Jets can move back from #10 with someone that wants to get ahead of Washington for a QB.
in all seriousness I think he could do well in the McD offense...hes great with the ball in his hands. No, he isnt Deebo. he was hurt and missed all last year I hope our WRs next year are Waddle Parker (too cheap to cut, not worth a lot in a trade) FREE AGENT OR HIGH DRAFT PICK Bowden Mack Hollins
Laviska Shenault, Curtis Samuel, Ty Montgomery, Lynn Bowden. MAYBE Tyler Boyd. Only guys who could pull off that role. Calvin Turner Jr. is a name to watch in this draft in that regard. More likely that he's a Lynn Bowden than a Deebo though
I used to hate on him, but hes the perfect depth WR Elite special teams player, great blocker, teammates love him and hes good for a long play down the field once every game or so
