I love the idea of the giants just knowing they’re gonna suck and taking as many dynamic athletes as possible haha. A team with Toney and Walker could be so fun.

Carolina Panthers select Kenny Pickett, QB, Pittsburgh


***This pick is under the assumption that the Panthers are able to improve the OL via free agency. Two new starters on the line is a very attainable goal and would open up the draft for us.***

With that said, Kenny Pickett is an easy pick for me here. I know all the hype right now is Malik Willis, and I do like him, but I see Pickett as a much safer and overall better prospect. He walks into the league with all the tools to be a good starting QB - strong arm, pocket presence, mobility, accuracy, ability to work through progressions - it’s all there. It’s just a matter of putting it all together while adapting to the speed and level of talent in the NFL. I also like Pickett’s leadership ability. When watching Pitt is was very clear that it was his team and he carried them in big moments.

The QB class in general is a bit underrated, but I think Pickett especially has been underrated by most fans and draft nerds. He has the skillset to have a bright future in the league.

He doesn’t have to start immediately with Sam Darnold being here, but obviously the sooner the better. With an improved OL, a good collection of receivers, and CMC in the backfield, Pickett would be walking into a decent-to-good situation his rookie year.

I’m just not gonna do this if people are already getting mad. I had a busy morning and I just finished lunch, there’s like three months until the draft. Whoever takes over the giants should just give them a run stopping defensive tackle.

 

I can only speak for myself, but the only people I’m mad at are the heathens who think a 2.5 hour conference call is okay lol

The Atlanta Falcons select Kyle Hamilton, S, Notre Dame

The falcons have decided to hell with positional value, just draft the best prospect in the draft named Kyle. Worked out last year, probably going to work out again this year. Dude checks every box athletically and intangibly and will be a big add to his hometown Falcons defense that ranked in the bottom quarter of the NFL.

The Denver Broncos select: Devin Lloyd, LB, Utah

This pick was made with the assumption Denver picked up a QB in FA. The Broncos have their top three ILBs heading into free agency. Broncos need help at OT and Edge but with Lloyd being BPA and fills a need, it was hard to pass on.
