The Jacksonville Jaguars select Evan Neal, OT, Alabama Right tackle first overall!? Fuck the haters. #ProtectTrevor
Lions select Kayvon Thibodeaux, DE Oregon I still think he’ll end up being the better player over Hutchinson.
With the 4th overall pick, the New York Jets select: Icky Ekwonu - Offensive Lineman - Louisville The Jets will not go anywhere if they don't protect Zach Wilson. Mekhi Becton has been injury prone since being the 11th overall pick a few years ago. Fortunately, George Fant has been an above average free agent signing and should stick at left tackle for the next few seasons. Becton has the opportunity compete for that spot, but I think he ends up at right tackle in 2022. Ekwonu has position versatility and that allows the Jets to play him inside and out. RG is the weakest position on the offensive side of the football. He'll be able to start at RG Day 1 and potentially replace Becton (or even Fant) in 2023 if things go wrong at tackle. 2022 OL: Fant - AVT - McGovern - Ekwonu - Becton
At 4, the Jets are in position to either land a top 2 EDGE or a top 2 OL. Douglas will probably take Jordan Davis. Time is a flat circle.
