With the 37th pick the Houston Texans select CB Trent McDuffie, Washington The Texans have a severe need at outside CB and McDuffie will immediately compete for a starting role. With a tenacious demeanor and ball skills to match, he should fit in nicely in Lovie Smith's defense predicated on causing turnovers.
The New York Jets select: Daxton Hill - Defensive Back - Michigan Swiss army knife defensive back with elite speed. Probably a true free safety in Saleh's scheme, but he the versatility to play nickel and some outside corner. The Jets are losing Marcus Maye. Safety is a significant need.
The Chicago Bears select: Christian Watson - Wideout - North Dakota State Unfairly labeled a deep threat, Watson did a lot of damage after the catch and on manufactured touches (reverses, screens, sweeps). He'll be a solid weapon.
The Denver Broncos select: Nicholas Petit-Frere - OT - Ohio State Its no secret Denver has had a revolving door of Tackles playing on the right side. Even though Nicholas played on the left side, he has the size and strength to play either side. If anything this is a depth pick, which Denver desperately needs.
