Imagine being Cashman and having to go anywhere in public this year

I'd include Hal but he probably has a tunnel from the stadium to his mansion

INCLUDED the slap in the face of 17 mil for this year.... I really may have a new favorite team next year.

You think Hal even cares enough to go to the games in person? Or even watches on TV?

  16. not to play devil’s advocate or anything but that contract doesnt seem too bad tbh

he’s entering his 30’s and has been injury prone

i’m all for players getting paid though so i hope he proves his worth lol

YEah NGL, that contract/money for a guy turning 30 who has only played 2 full seasons in his career seems....pretty good tbh

Not to mention he definitely has a body type of someone whose body will break down quicker

It’s really not a bad offer by any means. I don’t think the Yankees are low balling him. He thinks he’s worth more, which is fine, and he’s willing to bet on himself. Good luck to him.

  21. I get what you’re saying and I agree in terms of his risk profile. But of course the problem with that is you have to first accept the (false) proposition that the Yankees have to be frugal enough to come in under the luxury tax. If a Cohen-like owner was at the top of the org then they give Judge whatever he wants. If you’re even at the table with Judge talking about an extension you’re accepting that injury risk is gonna be there so why not offer him the cost of a mid tier reliever more per year to get it done. They create this false opportunity cost by simply not being willing to spend more money each year

Also I’m pro player all the way but I find it hard to fully side with Judge when he is choosing to make himself ineligible for nine games against the best team in the AL east this year lol. Get the shot you fuck

Was planning to watch the whole Ranger game tonight but unfortunately my wife is still in the hospital. Recording it just feels weird

I do because the Mets should still bring Conforto home on a one year deal
