  1. looking good! Andruw might sneak in. Him and Sheffield probably get in next year if not this time around

I don't think so, especially for Sheffield. The ballots we tend to not find out about disproportionately snub steroid players and are by small-hall types I think. Maybe I'm unnecessarily pessimistic but I don't think anyone except Rolen and Helton get above 60% and neither of them are anywhere near a lock to get in this year yet.

Surprised by the lack of support Francisco Rodriguez is getting. Especially when you compare his numbers to Wagner.

for me its because Wagner has only like 2 more years of eligibility left after this year, this is K-Rod's first year if i'm not mistaken.

K Rod also beat a woman up pretty badly and then probably paid to get the witnesses out of the country before he could be prosecuted as I recall. So that might be part of it!

Yeah it's wild how many athletes were allowed to do awful shit and everyone just ignored it prior to like 2017ish. Of course now most people just shrug but you do hear about it at least

I will be 100% transparent and say I myself only remember that about K Rod because he was a Brewer at the time lol

Doesn’t K-Rod still need 25% of the votes or he falls off the ballot? I haven’t seen one vote for him that I can remember.

Oh right yeah that sounds somewhat familiar. Wasn’t there something fishy about the victim’s father defending K-Rod too?
