It's honestly pretty remarkable how reviled this ownership group is. If I had told a Bostonian in 2000 that the new Millennium would see 4 World Series trophies come to Boston, the assumption would be that these owners would be kings. You have to genuflect in New England when you speak of Robert Kraft, and even the Celtics owners are beloved and only have one ring to show for it. To have 4, including ending an 86 year curse, and be hated is such a tremendous feat lol

 

Because people are stupid and Bloom is the face of the front office and most people don’t realize ownership are the ones that have to sign off on these deals. All these big moves fans are pissed off at are ownership driven.

I think next year I’ll be visiting my parents in Texas so I’m going to stop in Dallas for a few days and see the rangers versus dodgers.

 

I wouldn't mind Conforto on a year deal. I'm fine making moves later in the season though and seeing if Oswaldo keeps it up. Yankees def need some kind of OF depth though. They've never had less OF depth than right now
