Let's all hope Cole actually steps across the baseline next season. Would make for great television. That Manoah quote was such a ridiculous exaggeration, but after decades of being a punching bag, I enjoy the Jays having a series of players pettily creating a rivalry with the Yankees. Bautista, Stroman, Donaldson, Manoah all are the types of players you like cheering for on your team, but would hate watching on an opposing team.

 

Interesting, I was going to say it hurts Mauer to have played opposite Posey for most of their respective careers, except realize now in looking at their stats that Mauer beats him on most, especially if considering accumulation. Both have good cases.

 

Will be interesting to see how the votes turn out for Braun. I think Hamels will get a lot of votes but be one of those fringe guys whos on the ballot forever.
