Love watching the Rays fall apart against the Mariners every year

 

this is far from novel.
but i get your sentiment and that's where it begins with me.
the batter knowing the next pitch with 100% certainty was novel.
and that precision happened way before the trashcan banging.
pitcher v batter was compromised throughout the league to various degrees.
and who knows when that outlier started or if anyone did what Houston did but more clever.
mlb used tech throughout history to steal signs and getting more upset at the pinnacle of it, or the face of, for milking more visible PAs out of it just seems futile.
