i probably have an unhealthy resentment for the new cubs players

i have a friend who is extremely uber positive and extremely active on cubs twitter and tries to find a silver lining in things and i just can't lol. i have a hard time finding anything redeeming in schwindel, wisdom, ortega, hermosillo, etc—if you're 30 and just catching on somewhere, you are not interesting to me at all

i don't even really like hoerner or madrigal. middle infielders who can't hit for power at all? noooooo thank you. especially madrigal. not at all convinced the glove is good either
