carton has always been a very rough, borderline insufferable personality but i always justified it that thats just his schtick.

since he's been back from prison and back on the air, he's 100x worse. i don't think his show with evan lasts into 2023.
i don't even really like evan that much i think he's super annoying but, he's such a sports dork and loves his teams and deserves better than carton.

Carton and Evan have slight slightly grown on me cause I think they've allowed Evan to keep the show rational with actual sports talk.

I'm a huge Evan fan and legit cried when I heard his new partner was carton. You can tell it was a cliche Simpsons board executive meeting when it came to Evan "you need more pizzaz, more zip more zam. More jokes about how hot the pizza girl at citifield is". They thought even wasn't entertaining enough. Meanwhile I love good solid sports talk so Evan was perfect. Evan and JJ were the team.

But you can't argue with results. Evan and carton have dominated the ratings.. what a shame

 

Anyways ill go for my first week overreaction right now...

I said I was against trading McNeil and I think ill be proven right. Way too many met fans jumping off the mcneil bandwagon after 1 lukewarm year (it wasn't even that bad). Trading a guy who you're paying nothing and coming off his worst year, is not a savvy move. Glad the Mets didn't do it.

If he has another great mcneil year and someone offers you something juicy , we can talk, but I definitely want mcneil on this team
