The only 2023 shows I have on my calendar so far are Blink 182 and The Postal Service/Death Cab. I'm trying to purchase a home end of next year so 2023 might be the quietest year for me with concerts.

Oh and the best shows I went to this year:
1) Limp Bizkit - surprisingly had an absolute blast. A lot of fun and extremely tight live.
2) Coheed and Cambria - Also extremely tight, plus they have such a loyal fanbase that really bring the energy to the crowd
3) Sleigh Bells - I kind of wrote them off years ago, but now that they tour with a full band there's a whole new vibe and energy to their shows
4) The Killers - not the biggest fan of theirs but they were so good live. Great stage production plus they brought out Bruce!
5) Metallica - insane they can still sound this good performing trash metal in their 60s.

I got to 30, which was much needed after lockdown. I'm not sure what next year will hold, but got 11 currently in the works. I don't think I'll go to quite as many, but we'll see. My final show is Washed Out (DJ set) tonight. This is the list in order with my top 10 in bold. Parcels was the best show for me, and is up there with one the best I've ever seen. The 1975 were a close second, with the rest of the top 8 being part of the top 10, but could be ranked in any way. I didn't see a bad show all year to be honest. Some were just meh, but nothing bad. (I didn't include WWWY fest in my top 10, as that was an experience and not an individual show, so it felt unfair to automatically put it at #1).

Clutch was my biggest disappointment. Love their album work, but between the crowd and how old and bored they all looked, it was meh. (and it was my first time seeing them - new fan).

Another cool thing is that I went to 14 different venues to see these shows, but 9 of them I saw within a 60 second walk of my apartment which probably helped me get to so many. A few artists I saw there that I wouldn't have gone to see otherwise. I want to diversify further next year and say yes to music outside of my usual genre.
