Someone I knew from the scene posted an entire essay about how even though they’re a rangers fan they won’t be cheering for them, watching or going to any games until kane is off the team. That lasted like two weeks lolol
I know +/- is a dumb stat but jake walman is somehow +17 on the season despite playing 20 minutes a game for the wings
I know this is going to sound like such an asshole thing to say as a fan of the team with the second best record all year, but it’s hard to really care about the rest of the year and the playoffs this go around. If it were just one of Svech/Pacioretty hurt I could deal, but there’s just no offensive threat on this team anymore unless Aho or Necas pull off a bit of magic.
Teemu is my all-time favorite NHL player and the only jersey I have from an NHL player so this is super sad to see him say this... but not surprising given he's said some other eye-opening things about other topics lately. This though,,, is by far the worst.
