So I guess the risk with waiting a year is if he repeats last season or does 75% of it, you're stuck paying him $8 mil.+ since he's a center with arb rights. That and he goes straight to UFA if they bridged him instead. They also only have to buyout 1/3rd of the contract if he bombs, but the fact that we're talking about that kind of tells you how insane the contract is.
would have preferred the number start with a 7 but whatever, ill take him and Thomas locked up until they're 32/33 for those numbers
