This is the ~special edition cover~ so I’m wondering if the regular one will be like the more traditional action shot covers. Either way as you said physical games aren’t as big anymore so it doesn’t really matter.

I was shocked to see the reaction to the jersey a saw once this move was announced, I was expecting universal admiration of it but I saw a ton of people saying they don’t like it. I have one I wear to games and love it personally.

 

I think black jerseys are very hit or miss. I think the red home jerseys are a lot better, and the away jerseys remind me too much of the Rangers

 

I don't ever want the flyers to play on black again

Canes and bolts black jerseys are great. B's obviously. Ducks is a good one.

Wish the King's would go back to purple and silver.

 

AEW Hockey Twitter just has a general exhaustion with the Hurricanes right now. The same people loved that jersey when it came out. It works but there are a lot of teams wearing black now. LA & Anaheim need to ditch it.

 

I don’t hate the jersey, but I think that logo is kinda dumb

 

I can appreciate an exhaustion of the Canes from non fans at this point. When the team was bought by Dundon he explicitly stated it was a goal to make the team relevant both on and off the ice, and he’s clearly succeeded. The feisty twitter account stuff drives an insane amount of engagement, and for a small market team that had fallen into total irrelevancy in the decade after the cup win I get why it’s important to do what you can to make sure the team is constantly one of the most talked about league wide.

 

Agreeing again with Jeff marek, the league has way too many black jerseys. It's old.

Only black jerseys I think work are bruins and kings. Maybe vgk.

 

Kings need to go back to including purple, it looks good with the black
