    No Fun. Not Ever.

Looks like Darren Helm is retiring. Shout out to his 2009 Playoff shift that lives rent free in my head.

Red Wings are terminating Zadina’s contract. Would def take him on a one year prove it deal.

    Another Ken Holland disaster pick

had hopes for him but I just don’t see him turning it around

In all fairness wasn’t he a consensus top 5 pick at the time? I could totally be misremembering, but I thought there was some surprise that he didn’t go third overall.

Most Sens fans were pissed they took Tkachuk over Zadina.

I think some were saying zadina could even go third, too

Top three before Tkachuk started catching hype at the WJC.

No chance that podium keeps that design next week, if not the end of the day.

Not surprising, especially for that state. Gross.

are you saying this was a purposefully done thing by an insidious character(s) and not just an unfortunate mistake?

So stoked we got Bratt for twice as many years at that same AAV

4 years is perfect, great deal/extension. I don’t want anyone at max term considering this team has no idea where they’ll be at in 4 years

It kills me that the goalie market is one guy with a year left and wants a 9m extension, one declining guy (John Gibson) with four years left, and our dopey GM has the reigning Vezina winner at a reasonable AAV and won’t trade him

low risk, potentially high reward if he figures it out. i say this all the time in defense of zadina.. he is a quality hockey player who seems to do everything right, but he just gets absolutely zero production for his efforts. his metrics don’t look that bad, but his lack of finishing ability as well as his linemates when he passes the puck has led him to being viewed as a disaster of a draft pick. if he can figure out how to actually “fill the net”, he will be quite valuable. for his sake, i hope he does it.
