Its a little eerie how closely Rodgers and Favre's paths are. Favre has a fall from grace and in his age 39 season gets traded to the NYJ. Aaron Rodgers is having that fall and is about to be traded to the NYJ.

If I'm Jordan Love, I'm getting ahead of it all...buying property in NY already...and living the good life until I get indicted on federal fraud charges 20yrs from now

Are there any teams aside from Chicago that has cap space that will pay Orlando Brown the $20-$23 million annually he wants?

If I could make memes I'd be posting the Poe Dameron "somehow, Palpatine returned" image but make it say "the Saints, somehow"

Dude is so overrated. Never watched him do anything that I thought warranted the contract he got from them, but fantasy folks go goo goo ga ga for him because he soaks up opportunities to put up mediocre numbers

@Eagles sign him and then draft a rookie

idgaf, that'll decrease the price of his contract and that's why they'll have Kenny Gainwell and a rookie as well

Very interesting tidbit from Marcus Hayes of The Philadelphia Inquirer about the Eagles moving on from Dennard Wilson that says everything you need to know about Jonathan Gannon:

It seems the LV DUI judge recused himself because he talked about the case during his re-election campaign and I guess it’s a conflict of interest. And then the judge who said she didn’t have authority to appointment a judge for trial because didn’t usually deal with criminal cases, it’s more like local policy stuff.

So it sounds like it’s being held back by bunch of technicalities

I agree with him though. I’ll still be surprised if someone takes Richardson super early. Lamar and Fields were better prospects who understood more about the QB position in the “super athletic project QB” department, I feel pretty comfortable saying both of those guys are similarly insane athletes - Fields went 12th and Lamar went 32nd

I get it that teams highly value athleticism and arm strength, but pocket presence and protecting the football are also very important to teams - and he doesn’t do those things nearly as well as Fields and Lamar. He is very slow to process past his first read, his pocket presence is all over the place and sometimes he runs INTO / CREATES pressure when there was none because he creates bad angles for his O line… and the erratic footwork + slow decision making creates some really bad decisions / inaccurate throws when his first expected read isn’t open.

He also was not trusted to throw the ball as much as those guys - so the uglier completion percentage and TD/INT numbers are also coming in a smaller sample size where opposing teams are more worried about the run. I mean 2500 yards, 53% completions and 17 TD to 9 INT is just not good passing numbers for college, even for his first year as a full time starter. Even the very polarizing college version of Josh Allen was less sloppy than Richardson is.

I do think he FLASHES anticipation and that gives him a higher ceiling than a Marcus Mariota… but I also think everything I criticized about Justin Fields is worse in Richardson. In conclusion I agree that the analysis of him lacks nuance, developmental QBs are not all created equal, some are further away from par decision making, calm pocket movement, and processing than others. And other developmental guys I was worried about were still flat out better passers than AR is

I feel like those Penny highlights are more so great blocking than creative running. He has good patience hitting the hole but not a whole lot of individual creation there, aside from putting a move on the safety in a couple of them.

that may be exactly what the Eagles want but I don’t consider him that impressive stacked up to the best RBs in the league, he is just a good fit for offenses with really good blockers that want downhill zone runners who can take advantage

Just a reminder that that cult org also funds pro life stuff and hate groups, because of course they do. Of course the nfl is cool with their sponsorship and endless commercials lol

Just wait until you find out how good the Eagles offensive line is at run blocking
