Carr is the type of QB who can get you to the divisional round of the playoffs, but, when push comes to shove, I don't know if he's gonna be a guy you can lean on when the chips hit the table

    Not at all.

Minshew is a good backup. Carr is a middling starter. Obviously Carr is better but the bar is much higher also

Dude is so overrated because he looked good for, like, half of his rookie season. Competent backup. Nothing more

    Trusted

Carr in NY is a playoff QB that easily gets wrecked in January by Josh Allen/Patrick Mahomes/Joe Burrow

That’s like 7 other quarterbacks in the AFC though. Carr would be getting in line behind players like Lawrence, Herbert, and (if he remains in the AFC) Lamar.

You just gotta want more than Carr

I’ll give New Orleans credit, they found a guy who can play and who would take a no-long-term-security contract to bet on himself, and Carr found a much easier division and a much easier conference. That is the best case scenario for him lifting up a roster that desperately needs competent QB play. But I don’t think he’s destined for multiple playoff wins and all that.

  12. Nah I'd have Jets ahead of Chargers and Ravens

Who is better in the NFC than Carr? Hurts and Rodgers(pending)?

I would take Hurts, Dak, and Kyler over Carr. Probably Stafford too, maybe Geno

  17. I like Carr, dude was my QB1 coming out. He's a terrible fit for a young rebuilding team. Great fit for the Jets, not great for Carolina

@CarpetElf If Lamar stays on the Ravens, absolutely not.

I know they had an “off season” but they still came THIS close to winning the division and winning a playoff game. Ravens roster is really good. The Lamar saga is the entire reason they are “struggling” right now but they are still coached by a guy who won a superbowl with Joe fucking Flacco

  19. A Carr led Jets team that's healthy is just better

  20. Maybe Goff?

I think I'd have Carr, Cousins, and Goff all in the same group. Shake em up in a box and see who comes out.
