So what’s everyone making for game viewing tonight? We’re doing fully loaded nachos. I hope she doesn’t take all the nachos off the top with all the toppings. It’s one of the only rules in this house.

 

My 2 friends and I have been going out every Thursday to a small quaint sports bar in my town since like October last year. Just low key and a few drinks, but we always call it “TNF.” So fucking pumped tonight for it to be back!!!

I typically bet the Dolphins' opponent ML every week

I figure if they lose, at least I will make some money

 

I need an explainer of all the gambling terms, and ways to read odds.

 

ML is money line, aka you're betting that team straight up to win with no spread involved.

if you see that a team is - odds (lets use -150 as an example), that means you have to bet $150 to win $100

if you see a team that is + odds (lets use +150 as an example), that means that you have to bet $100 to win $150

lets say a team is (-3). If you bet on them with the spread, they have to win by at least 3 points for you to win the bet.

Lets say a team is (+3). If you bet on them with the spread, they can lose by up to 3 points (or win obviously) and you still win your bet
