lol yeah man long story short the church her family went to in Michigan kinda singled them out (too many details) and she’s like maybe organized religion isn’t that great

I met my wife on Facebook. Neither of us remember adding each other or when we became friends on there but we had a lot of mutuals. One day she messaged me saying she thought I looked like someone who lived in her apartment complex which I didn’t lol and we just kept talking and our first date was at an Architects show

 

her mom still invites us to go to church in their hometown and I'm like mmm I don't need to hear this old white dude yell about abortion for an hour

 

I hated that dude lol

One of my biggest red flags and no greater way to tell on yourself by getting immediately defensive instead of apologetic. Just spoke volumes to me and I was thinking to myself “We haven’t even been chatting for a week lol”

 

It'd be an easy thing to laugh off too "oh wow that's weird of me, these things are so awkward sometimes"

 

I online dated like 10 years ago and then got married but recently got divorced and did it again for a while and it has gotten so much worse lol luckily I met my current gf organically but when this inevitably fails I don’t think I’ll pick up online dating again

 

In my experience with online dating and the apps is people either are a complete wreck or are ready to get married, buy a house and have kids tomorrow. I don’t like either option.

 

Yeah to just double and even triple down on it, then try to pin it on me by telling me that it's disappointing that I feel that way...weird hill to die on

 

what about if they are both options

 

I actually know what this movie is lol it’s based on a book series about owls fighting fascism but the movie is kind of whitewashed, sadly
