I'm not really sure, I know of couples that got together in other places and both happen to post on Chorus, or got together cuz of Absolutepunk, but I dunno how many might've gotten together cuz of Chorus

She used a word I used to describe working with children and then described her wonder as "childlike." That is QUITE LITERALLY inviting the comparison

after my divorce a few years ago, I plunged headfirst into that world. Those were some....interesting times with interesting dates lol. I could write a book on that period of time. Thankfully met my wife IRL later but it was wild at the time

Meeting someone organically and IRL would be so much more preferable. Unfortunately, I've hit that point in my life where I don't go out a lot or see my friends at, like, parties or other social engagements anymore. My mental health would very likely be in a better place without such apps and just keeping things as natural as possible

Yeah it definitely devolved from there where she was like "Where are we in terms of moving past this" and just trying to sweep it under the rug. When I told her how it made me feel, she hit me with "It's unfortunate you feel this way" and I was like "No, I really don't think it is" and then she tried to walk it back before telling me she's had a shitty past few days and doesn't have the energy to battle

Like, just acknowledge you made a weird comment, apologize, and we can move on. Stop trying to come out on top or something
