I actually think its Houston, The draft capital, a seemingly competent GM. Always a risk the owner is a moron again...but thats also true at every other job opening (and especially true in Indy and Arizona).

I'd put the Indy + Car jobs next up. Indy, because they seem to routinely get to at least .500, and coaches get 4-5yrs at least. Arizona is probably next...all sorts of issues there, but, if you're a defensive coach, the offense is pretty taken care of talent wise. Denver is last on my list. Even if you're great, Russ' contract is a ticking time bomb, and in 2024 they have $100mil of cap space tied up in guys who are certainly not top 10 at their positions, and reasonably might not be top 20.

 

I’ve warmed up to the idea of Richardson. Depending on who we hire. There’s definitely potential. I just never expect us to develop someone like him.

I’m sick with covid so I put on espn during the day yesterday when it’s all the debate or hot take stuff and I’m not a big Tom Brady fan or anything but it’s just ridiculous that the same people who were wrong for like 10 years about his decline are now taking a victory lap. They were also all adamant Aaron Rodgers is going to leave GB which I’m sure they were wrong about the last like 5 years too. My god those shows are so stupid and useless

Good news is that by and large nobody watches them. First Take does like 500k viewers...Price is Right does 4mil

I think I started watching it around late 2010 but I honestly didn’t know much about what was going on in sports at the time, I stopped watching it a few years later because I realized it was all overproduced yelling.
