I wouldn’t have traded Robinson for that tbh.

At the very least he’s injury insurance for Etienne. Maybe if a team wanted to dangle a 4th (even just a fourth round comp) I’d see the point.

But Etienne just came off an ACL tear and he’s pretty small. He’s not built for 25-30 carries a game, I actually loved the idea of a 12-16 touches sort of role where he can get the most open space possible to use his speed and catch the defense off guard.

Even if we ain’t resigning Robinson I’d still hold onto him just in case, I mean a conditional 6th really ain’t much but I get that Pederson is good at finding special teams contributors so I’ll trust it.

 

A conditional 5th for a RB2 rental is pretty good imo

 

No one really trades a lot for rbs, especially backups these days.

Remember when the colts traded for Richardson? Lol

 

Also not to be but actually…but Etienne had a foot sprain not an ACL tear. He did have to have surgery for it though.

 

Oh yeah the lisfranc. I’m just so used to our first round picks tearing their ACLs lmao.

 

RB1 for them (this season)

Michael Carter has been actually not good this season. Robinson more so looked like he wasn’t a scheme fit for Pederson (which I take the blame for thinking he would be this off-season).

 

I don't think that's good value for the Jags, they prob would have gotten at least a 6th round comp pick for losing Robinson in free agency this offseason. Great move by the Jets, free rental
