Right now the Saints pick like 4th or something. They have losses sure but:

- Bucs had a pick six + a freak turnover
- Panthers had a defensive touchdown
- Vikings won on a late field goal cause of a defensive blunder; played back-up QB
- Bengals won due to a freak defensive blunder at the last second; played back-up QB
- Cardinals had as many defensive points as offensive points; played back-up QB

I also think their starting three receivers have a combined what, one game together? Last game they were down a five offensive starters and their top two corners. They've been massively unlucky. I don't think they're actually as bad as they appear. I think right now maybe you could bait a team with what looks like a top three pick but will likely be high teens. As opposed to giving up two firsts

Look I am sorry but Brian Burns is not “two first round picks” good

he’s an exciting prospect, he has a rare combo of length and acceleration, but he has not proven himself “two first round picks” worthy. Imo that guy better be looking like top 5 at his position for a whole generation of players to be worth TWO firsts if he’s not a quarterback.

7.5 sacks per season / never had double digits, and not really known for defending the run… it’s more projection than reality.

Two firsts is just a LOT of draft potential. The Lions’ two firsts in the ‘22 draft might both be elite in a few years. And if I had two extra firsts… shit I’d be turning that into us drafting the best WR in the NCAA, Marvin Harrison Jr, in 2024

Ravens desperately need a pass rush and maybe it’s coming with guys off IR but I wouldn’t want Brian Burns for two 1st round picks that is a ton, idk about 1 even.

I don’t disagree with this but it’d also just be really dumb to trade him. He’s a very good pass rusher and just 24 years old. And like I said before, we literally just rebuilt the defense and did so pretty well. They aren’t the reason we suck lol he’s young enough that in a couple years when we’ve revamped the offense, he’ll still be in his prime and heavily contributing.
