Not hearing enough "trade Embiid and blow it up" chatter, even though I don't think they ever do it.

Guessing they hope the coach helps.

Its crazy to me that people think Morey is a good GM

This is the same guy we heard was going to Houston all season, though, right? If James wasn't absolutely atrocious in Games 6 & 7, he probably gets that deal from the Sixers, anyway. He also opted in when he could have been a free agent.

It's a really bold move when Morey can effectively end his career if he doesn't come to camp.

Whatever. Just trade him for RoCo/Marcus Morris and let Maxey cook this year. And then hope free agents will still want to play with Joel/Maxey next summer.

 

if Winger trades both RoCo and Morris for Harden we might see the shortest tenured GM in some time

So courageous of James Harden to speak out against Daryl Morey while Harden’s cashing checks in mainland China, really takes guts to do something like that
